"Your kit included DSP from JoAnns American Crafts and the glitter paper not sure what the company it is. The rose images all came from a set I purchased on Wish.com and didn't have any kind of name of company name on it. I have a rose from Gina K in there as well and I wrote her name on those images. The roses are from recollections and the rest of the embellishments are from my stash. Since roses come in different colors please color your rose in your favorite rose color that you either like to receive or send. Please, also, let us know what your all time favorite color of rose is (if different from the rose color on your card). I have attached meanings of each color if you are interested...
Red: I love you, passion, respect, courage; Pale pink: grace, admiration, elegance; Deep pink: gratitude, refinement, appreciation; Orange: fascination, passion, desire, pride; Coral: desire, fascination; Peach: believe me, modesty, sweetness; Yellow: joy, happiness, caring, true friendship; White: innocence, purity, loyalty; Burgundy: undying love, unconscious beauty; Lavender: love at first sight, enchantment."
Here's my card:
I was so delighted to receive this kit from Carol in time to make a birthday card for my friend's June birthday! She loved it!! Although I colored the rose on my card in red, my favorite rose colors range from peach to deep orange. I have several favorite roses. One is called "Evelyn", an David Austin English rose, that is a peachy pink and very fragrant. I particularly love it as my mother's name was Evelyn. After the death of my mother about 30 years ago I bought "Evelyn" rose bushes for my sisters and my mother's brother to plant in honor of her.
My second favorite rose is one of the few roses that have flourished in our hot dry Arizona desert climate and is appropriately named "Arizona". The color of the rose varies from pale pink to deepest orange and is reminiscent of our awesome Arizona sunsets!
